Josh and Abigail first met on November 2, 2019, during a football weekend in Knoxville, Tennessee. Josh was in town visiting an old friend after graduating from Georgia Tech, and that weekend turned out to be more memorable than he expected.

Curious about the girl he'd just met, Josh asked Abigail to join him for lunch on Sunday—and their first date was at El Charro, her favorite local Mexican spot. After the weekend, Josh returned to Atlanta, but he didn't let distance get in the way. He kept in touch and soon made a trip back to Knoxville to see Abigail again.

What followed were months of long-distance dating and countless road trips between Knoxville, Atlanta, and eventually Nashville. Over time, their connection deepened, and they became best friends and true partners in life.

On November 9, 2024, nearly five years after they met, Josh proposed during a fall trip to Cades Cove, a special place in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that Abigail’s family visited every year. She had been eager to return to Knoxville in the fall—and Josh knew it was the perfect setting to ask her to spend forever together.

Not long after, Josh moved to Nashville, where the two will tie the knot on October 19, 2025. They’re so excited to begin this next chapter with the people they love most.
